Currently I got version 30.82 (tonight I downloaded it from NVIDIA's site).
I still get 7764 in 3DMARK2001, while I see several guys having more than 9000 and even 11000 with the same processor.

I got
256mb pc133
1700xp
VIA 4 in 1 installed (in turbo mode)
windows 98SE

by the way I get 126fps in QUAKE III
at 1280 x 1024 32 bits
lightmaps
max texture
and GL extension --> yes
is that good?
at 800 x 600 same setting I get 143fps.

please tell me a specific driver and VIA AGP driver too, to boost my system.

There's a few newer ones out, 3100, 40.41, I think 40.71. But for me the 30.82 is the most stable, not the fastest but really stable w/good colors. I prefer good stability over speed. I read somewhere the 40.41's are fast but people are having problems with them after overclocking their video cards, refesh rates, lockups etc. It depends on the system. I think 3100's are for Nforce chips. All I know is 30.82 drivers are very good on my system, fast enough, overclocking ok, great colors. You can find all the Det 4 drivers and forums here...www.reactorcritical.com

ok, in QUAKE III what are your FPS???
in demo1
and please include the setting for the game (and for the GF4TI 4200) if it's overclocked, if it's AA4x etc.

also your result in 3DMARK2001 (default setting)

mine is xfx geforce 4 TI4200 64mb
the default cpu frequency says 250mhz and 513mhz (after installing the 30.82 driver), I dont know if the driver overclocks my videocard by default.

Is 126fps normal at 1280 x 1024, 32 bits everything maxed.
using that videocard, agp4x, 384mbRAM pc133 and a
ATHLON 1700xp processor?

3100 is for Nforce chips? Hmm thats weird. Im currently using DetXP 31.00 on my Winfast Geforce 4 MX 440 (got the driver from the official Leadtek Website) Is this good or is this bad?

That is the point they started adding nForce support in their drivers (actually I think it was around 28). They released certified 41.03 drivers a few days ago. You might try those. They are not the fastest, but they are pretty close and fix the most bugs. They have also added a few features to make the drivers a bit easier to adjust image quality and added a few new ones like texture sharpening, which I have no idea if it does anything ,but it drops the performance by quite a bit (about 10-20% if I recall correctly).
