I'm trying to install a SupraMax 56i voice PCI modem under WIN98.
When the machine boots & finds the new hardware, I insert the CD supplied, but the drivers cannot be found on the CD.
I've tried to install the drivers manually, but still Windows can't find the drivers.
I've even trien downloading the drivers from the internet and installing the drivers with the floppy, but still no luck.
Please help.

The drivers might be buried in a sub-folder somewhere on the disk. W98 looks for *.inf files when setting up new hardware. Do a search on the install disk for all *.inf files. If one looks like it might make sense (name wise), try it. Some modem are picky and that they require Windows to find it during set-up and not manually installed. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks Alan_s.
But I've already tried seaching the CD.
I'm thinking I might have a faulty modem.
