Well, going from timings of 3-3-3-8 to 2-2-2-7 seemed to help a litte. Got it down to 39 seconds...

Ummm, doesn't it say "P4 550"? I am taking a wild stab at that being the Intel model number...

If the question is, what is a P4 550? An lga775 P4 @ 3.4ghz. I lowered the multiplier to 14 from 17 on mine to be able to run the memory bus @ 1066mhz.

No that is a good question as Intel went with a numbering ID for the Socket T (LGA 775) CPU's.

  • 520 = 2.8GHz 1mb L2 Cache

  • 550J = 3.4 Ghz 1mb L2 Cache
  • 560 = 3.6 Ghz 1mb L2 Cache
  • 560J = 3.6 Ghz 1mb L2 Cache
  • 570 = 3.8 Ghz 1mb L2 Cache

How were you able to change the multiplier on your processor? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't all P4's multi locked?
