I saw the Thing about Seagate withe Ultra SCSI 320, and did a little research. It looks like it is just around the corner. I guess I'll have to dump the 160 then and spend gobs of money on the 320. OH well, that's the way it goes.

NewBlackDak, if I'm not mistaken, you're going to need a 64bit PCI slot to take FULL advantage of that SCSI 320. As for now, I think I'll settle for the Adaptec 29160 controller and 10,000RPM IBM drives!

Not to mention I wouldn't get too excited about a new transfer protocol till they actually bump up the spindle speed or the media/areal density on the drives first. 15,000 RPM drives are no where near saturating the 160MB/sec DTR of Ultra160 SCSI.

Those will be my next SCSI Drives... the ones you have currently!

Want to trade?

I'll give you 2 Seagate Cheetah's 9.1 and 1 Seagate Barracuda II 20.4 UDMA/66 for all you hard drives and the SCSI Card.

Even if I were serious... I know I'm going to get into trouble for this.

A TB of IDE storage isn't worth the SCSI I have, IMHO. Why do you want all my hardware? First my processor, and now this. Yeah right, and I'll give you $25 to take your whole computer off your hands.
