On a dual boot with Win XP and Win 7 with two Sata hard drives, Win XP installed first, where do you change the timing of the time to display OSs. In the first XP drive or the second Win 7 drive? Or does it matter?

I was wondering because doesn't the boot.ini live on the Win XP HD? I guessed and set it both to 3 seconds on both hard drives. Well it works but really didn't know which HD to do it on. My 1st OS boot is Win 7 if I don't do anything and not choose XP.

Well... Flip a coin or start with Win 7 like Shinma suggested and change the time again.

Orginally I put the timeout on the Windows XP hard drive at 2 seconds and I could not see the 2 second list. It just flashed and I could not choose anything. It just went to Win 7. But I was googleing that you should start with 3 seconds and up. So I went to Win 7 and had to change it to 3 seconds even to see it when it booted. So I just put them both to 3 seconds and I'm leaving it now. So the timeout screen is not a before Windows dos screen huh?
