... I am looking at motherboards on Newegg (specifically this combo) it has on board video outputs, but the motherboard says it has no onboard video chipset. Am I missing something?

Doesn't the video come from the SB processor (intel 2000)? :confused:

I think you might be right... just haven't bought a motherboard in a while, and they had on board graphics back then...

Yes, for Sandy Bridge CPUs the "onboard" video chipset is actually integrated in the processor die, there's only the outputs on the board itself (and you need a Z68 or H67 board to have them).
