For those on a budget,
Following review may be of interest,

Corsair VX550W vs. Corsair HX520W

*Still not sure if I would trust the VX models,
Since it is manufactured by CWT (Channel Well Technology),
But nice to know if budget was a factor...

* No longer applicable. Some VX models are manufactured by Seasonic and vice versa.

Nice article! Since I own a VX, I'm hoping that CWT did get it right this time :) I've been very happy with it so far.

Nice link, Shinma, to the VX vs. HX. Whether built to Corsair's specs, or from bitter experience, the CWT built VX had exactly the same Japanese capacitors as the Seasonic built HX, and performance and efficiency was comparable. The HX had a little better efficiency at low outputs, the VX peaked a little higher efficiency at higher outputs. Very thorough test. That VX should be a highly recommended unit for anyone looking for quality on a budget.

A review of the Antec NeoPower 650 and NeoPower 650 Blue,

Since they are manufactured by Seasonic,
Maybe worth consideration if one can get one at a sale price...
Caveat:
Still not up to the standards of the Seasonic high end models.
