Notebooks: A-64, P4, or "The Wait for Dothan"? Which is best performance-wise?

Hello all! I am looking for some opinions. I am about to purchase a notebook for multiple purposes, but the most intensive purposes will be remote recording and gaming. So, with that said, I was wondering which you would reccommend. I have been looking at Dell Inspiron 9100's, Compaq 3000z's, HP ZD7000's, etc.

I am mainly interested in opinions of how these three compare to each other. I know not much can be said of the Dothans because they've not been released, but I am especially interested in P4 vs. A-64 because the A-64's are both less expensive (which means new printer or DVD burner, or aftermarket memory, perhaps... all are desperately needed ;) ) and also are 64-bit capable (I know it doesn't mean much now, but is definitely something to consider). What do you guys think? Oh, and my budget is right at $2000. What I'm doing is getting the best I can in things that can't be upgraded and getting lowest on those that can. All opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had looked at some Sagers. They have really good features for the price. They're pretty much "reality priced" Alienwares, from what I hear and can gather. :) Thanks for the reply! Anyone else?
