new hard drive os mistake

i had to get a new hd and installed w7 rtm by mistake how can i delete and install my purchased copy of w7? now it will not boot from disc even if my bios has boot priority 1 2 and 3 to cd rom can i delete it w/ an old floppy start up disc its been a long time since i used one and i would have to search for one i really dont want to have to put it in another pc to delete it if that is even possible

To wipe the hdd clean, run dban from a cd or a usb thumb drive. You can find dban among the hdd tools on the Ultimate Boot CD.

Once the hdd is clean you should be able to resume installing any OS from whatever media.
