Well I have lost that setting and now it takes a little less than a second....and I dont like it...anyone know what the setting is...Help!!

Is this what you mean?

Start-menu speed
The default speed of the Start menu is slow. But you can speed it up by changing its delay. In the registry, navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \ MenuShowDelay

The default value is 400. Change it to 0 to speed things up.

Isn't this the wrong place to ask this but then again this could be considered oveclocking the start menu.
