I am getting this error (Error: 33 Unable to bind) I am using an older Compaq Deskpro 2000 with a 3com 3c905b-tx nic. Here is what I see:
-----------------------------------------
a:\ path =a:\net
3com etherlink pci dos ndis driver v5.0.2
found etherlink......

The command Completed Sucessfully

A:\>a:\net\netbind.com

I have checked on 3com's site, with no luck. I have checked on MSFT's Knowledgebase with no luck. Does anyone out there know what is going on here?

Try typing winipcfg in the run box off start button select your nic in drop down window hit release then renew see if that does anything, if not remove the nic in device manager and reboot if it doesn't work then try winipcfg again after reinstalling the nic. You might also try another slot.
