Someone pls help me on this one...
Everything was running fine until one day i unplugged the monitor cable from the graphics card to try out the TV-out S-video port on my TV set. After that i plugged the monitor cable back in and tried to start windows, everything went as per normal until it enters WinXP's wait screen, right about when you hear the startup tone, then the monitor just auto shutoffs and goes into standy mode (orange led). I tried turning on the monitor again and it shows "No Sync".
What could be the problem?

My system specs:
P4 2.4
512mb DDR
Gigabyte 845PE
EIZO LCD Flatscan L355
Xelo MX440 SE
Windows XP

If you checked your S-video out, chances are the GF-MX4 is still looking for your TV and not your monitor. I've never used twinview or whatever nVidia calls it, so you may just want to try to investigate the answer when running in TV mode. Look at the advanced video card settings. I know with ATI, you can turn off unused monitors to save VC resources, maybe this is what you have done inadvertently.

Ok, fixed the problem. i rebooted in VGA Mode and reinstalled the Det 40 Nvidia Drivers. Although i still have no idea what caused the problem in the first place....
