Hello all,

I am curious as to whether or not I can run my Video card at AGP 4x with an EpoX MVP3G-M mother board with 256 Meg of PC-100 RAM.

If so, How? The documentation for both the Card and the Mother board are skimpy in this area.

I currently have my card set at the factory defaults (AGP 2x) and was also wondering if I would see any signifigant improvement byt setting it for 4x.

Well, I answered my own question, I found the Epox site and lo and behold they had my exact question.

Epox does not currently have any products that support AGP 4x.

That's right. There aren't any motherboards (chipsets) currently on the market that support AGP 4x, the first chipset that supports it will be the Intel 820. It won't at least be out till fall this year (if where lucky that is).

U know, The v770 have 2x and 4x but u have to set a jumper ON THE VIDEOCARd and the jumper is braze in the board. So u have to unbraze it and set it correct when the motherboard will support the agp 4x
