do i really need one for a t-bird?
and how do you put them on? (ie. how much thermal grease and wher to put it?)
from what i read it says to put themal grease all over the chip to prevent a short. is that true?

why type should i use

Thermal grease conducts heat aswell as electrcity, DO NOT put it anywhere except the core. you dont need one unless you are unsure think you might crush the core.

I bought mine at www.overclockershideout.com which has openings for the bridges and the small resistors (or whatever they are) on the top..

all you have to do is align the shim on the processor so it is flat and doesnt come in contact with anything.

I hope this helped you out.
