My computer won't start not even the video card info comes up. The only thing it does is a little bit of Hard Drive Activity. It has a IBM 6x86 166+ and a VX Motherboard. I know for sure that its one of the two. I think it is CPU has worn up because it froze in Windows 95 and then never worked again....
Please Help!!!!

You will need to seperate and test your peices to find the defective one. Try thr CPU in another MB, and you MB with another CPU. That should define which, if either, is defective.

Worked out what the damn problem was.
I went and bought a new cpu - Didn't work
I went and bought a new vx motherboard - Didn't work
I was spewing now!!!
Well here is the deal.... I bought a new sound card, video card, and 32 SDRAM.... I took the sound card out - Didn't work still... Took the memory out and put some SIMMs in - NOW IT WORKS... Certain SDRAM mustn't work in vx motherboards!!!!
AFTER ALL THAT!!!!!
