60fps at 1600x1200x32 on a laptop!

VERY nice! However, I'd MUCH rather play at 1024x768x32 and 4X FSAA on a laptop.

But if I can't do that, then 1024x768x32 will suffice. That 1600x1200 is WAY too tiny for me.

Yeah, haha, fooled you all. Nah, actually it was Quake 3, not sure what quality settings though. I agree; I'd much rather play at 1024x768x32 w/FSAA too.

The other few things that caught my eye were the battery benchmarks, Hydravision and their colour-depth scaling technology. Good stuff, ATI!

P.S. Yes, I am a fan. I don't wanna see ATI get mashed by the GF4 release! Competition is good.

This is also pretty good to see. I might be wrong, but I haven't seen anyone screw around the ATI reference 8500 as much as this:

Seems to overclock pretty well at standard voltage. Hardware monitoring is a nice addition.
