38mm fan on V3 2000: is this enough???

I went to my local computer shop to look for a fan to put on my upcoming card, a Voodoo3 2000 AGP. The one he gave me is a Cooler Master 38mm fan @12v. Is this enough to cool down the GPU, even just a little, and could I try to overclock the card to, say, 175 MHz stable? I plan to fix it on the heatsink, without removing it.

Thanks!

I've got a small heatsink on my V3 2K and a 486 fan. It keeps it cool enough to overclock. The highest I've got with it is 143 @ 167 extremely stable (5 days w/o a lockup). I don't dare to go any further (for the cards sake).
