    PC-Chips

    Can anybody explain me what the so called and discussed PC-Chips MB's are?

    PC Chips is a low cost maker of MBs. they are also sold under various house brand names such as Alton.

    Also, the models usually start with M or MB. i.e. M577, MB577, etc

    If you see any MB's with on board sound and especially in combination with on board VGA, then it's almost definately a PCCHIPS board.

    Even though their prices are very apealing, you do get what you pay for.
