I just swapped a Pentium II 300 motherboard for a P233MMX motherboard. When I put the P233MMX board in the PII300 case, the power supply did not provide a wire for the cooling fan - so I put everything back. Is this a common problem, or did I just miss something?

Jumper your CPU fan in with the hard drive power lead. If the fan is not equipped with the right plug, scap it and get a new one.
