nVidia Detonator 27.20 performance comparison

Only 2 points increase... from 23.11. Worth trying but nvidia should have released a more better driver for GF3 before releasing it for GF4 which still 2-3 weeks before official release..

The fastest 3DMark I got with the old drivers was with 22.50. I scored 4442. With the 27.20 I score 4497. Thats pretty good (with 23.11 I got about 4408). The big increase was with the High Poligon test in 1 light and 8 light, going from 16.5/3.1 to 22.0/5.0. That is about a 33 and 61% icrease in scores in those two tests. These scores are almost the same as the scores you got with a higher clocked GeForce3.

I also go a nice boost in Quake3 and 3DMark 2000 (5% and 3%).

Man, I closed a small background app (CPUCool) and ran 3DMark 2001 again (normally this makes almost no differance as I have tried this many times). I scored a nice 4640 this time. Not too bad. I gained about 4.5%. Here is my link to MadOnion ( hope its the right one):

Horrible, I ran 3DMark 2001 and my score dropped from 3100+ to 2700+ I'm going back to the 23.11 detonator drivers. I hava ASUS GF2 TI 64MB DELUXE. I'm running Win2000.

I tried the drivers with my TNT2 on a 440bx mobo running Windows XP. They didn't work at all. Bilinear filtering did not work in any of my emulators (happens when using a hardware stretch option for fullscreen) and everything ran as if there was no AGP acceleartion whatsoever. I was having a hard time running Super Nintendo games on a 1GHz machine! I went back to the 21.85 drivers.
