    Turing of touchpad on laptop

    I have a DELL "Latitude" running windows 2000. Does anyone know how to diasble the damn touch pad mouse crap?

    Probably in the Bios.

    Boot to bios and look for touchpad or onboard pointing device.

    I don't have my dell anymore, but it had w/2000 on it and I wanted to use just the pointer. Check out control pannel/mouse---I think that where i shut mine off
