For a while now I've been using K-Hypermedia CDRs since they're pretty cheap and have always worked great. Last week I was getting alot of write error (thank God for simulated burns) and at first I though it was my burner. I had about 20 discs left from a 50 spindle and they were all getting write errors. For a while I thought I was out of luck since the warranty on the burner had just expired. I went and purchased a Cendyne burner and the same thing happened. After this I bought a new spindle and it burned no problems. I distributed the remaining discs from the other spindle for some friends to test and they said that they got the same errors with different burners/speeds. What media brands have proven themselves reliable. I know I may have just gotten a bad batch but I think I'll switch to a more reliable brand now.
