    HP 9600se 12x8x32 CD-RW Ext SCSI

    Does any one have this drive?
    Is it anygood?

    Does it have to be an external drive? You can save so much money on getting one of the internal units. Also, IDE is cheaper but completely understand why you want a SCSI Drive.

    This HP drive is only 70?
    All the internal ones sheme to be 130

    That's really strange that the internal costs more than an external unit!

    Anyway, if you're going to pay that much money for a CD-RW drive, I recommend getting a Lite-On LTR-24102B IDE CDRW

    Which is better SCSI or IDE?
    I see the speeds are better on that IDE but what about overrall?
