    is there a way to disable the LED on quickcam pro 3000?

    I was wondering if there was a way to disable the LED on the quickcam pro 3000? (non destructive of course). i could always just open it up and take out hte LED, but i was wondering if there was a software solution.

    Why not use a piece of rubberized tape?

    Yeah, I doubt you could do it with software, it probably takes power straight off the usb line, the best thing to do is use blu-tack, or like you said remove the thing.
