I was wondering if any they make any good digital cameras now for under $300.
The main thing im worried about is the 'shaking' of your hands when taking a photo. I know digital cameras can be a ***** because you must be perfectly still in order to get a good picture. Are there any cameras that are a little lenient on stillness while snapping the shot?

When I tryed to buy my daughters an Olympus 360 like the one I had, they were not available any more so I had to get them a
510Z. And it is even better than the 360, the last time I saw an ad it was in the $300 range. Staples I think.
You can't go wrong with Olympus.

I have two Olympus digitals.... a C-2100UZ (2.1mp with 10x image stabilized lens) and a C-3040Z (3.3mp with 3x zoom, 1.8f stop) and love them both. For the money I don't think you can beat them. Only ones I'd consider trading up for would be the new Canon D60 or Nikon D100 digital SLR's with interchangeable lenses.
Yea the Olympus Camedia's are pretty good. I am a personal fan of the Sony Mavica because it save the images on a floppy disk, or a mini-cd if you want to spend that much. I hate those frickin' Smart Media cards... But I would put my vote for Olympus as being good quality/low price.

If god hadn't intended for us to eat animals then why'd he make them out of meat?
Why would you write your digital photos to a floppy. Hello, 1.44MB! Get Compact Flash, they're cheap and have more capacity than any other format (512MB I think).
Olympus are good, but I love my Canon A20.
