    how reliable are these 40gb 60gb and 80gb hard drives

    As I am going to get a new computer, I really like to know how reliable these big hard drives are?

    No out of the ordinary problems reported on drives with the stated sizes.
    Tried a Maxtor 40GB ATA133 HDD last week,
    Did not encounter anything out of the ordinary.

    I've used a few Maxtor 60 gig drives since they came out. No problems here.
