Well, some local desktop furniture and printing stores can do it if you bring a photo or a picture on digital support. I had a custom mouse pad for christmas last year; it looks good, but it is costly and they don't always tuse the best mouse pads (mine is a little bit rough and small, but it's ok). However I'm not sure if you can do it by yourself, but you can always go to your printer's website to see if they have any kind of transfer paper that would allow that.
