Question on Installing a New Hard-Drive

Hello

I am building a new system. AMD 1.2GMH and I dont know what I should do after I have installed everything and booted up the maching. I mean how should I format the hard-drive?
Should I FDISK first? and then FORMAT? in that order?

I have a win98 startup disk and recoverdisk which has the important programs like FDISK on it

Yes, Fdisk and make all your partitions first, then Format.
