    new Intellimouse, not smooth

    as I thought....

    Hi all, just got a MS Intellimouse Explorer (5 buttons), I installed it like it said to (USB), but my old Logitech 3 button mouse seemed to run smoother across the screen. I am a civil drafter, so the smoother the mouse movement ,the better. Is there anyway to smooth this thing out? I mean it is not bad, but I was expecting something a little better...being $60 and all. Any suggestions?

    You did install the latest Intellipoint software right? If that didn't help, try PS2Rate Plus.
