Does nero 5.x burn .BIN files ?

Have .cue & .bin files native to CDRWIN (I believe)... does Nero burn these like it burns ISO files ?

I know it will burn simple, single track .bin images. I've never tried it on something like a game where the .bin may contain a data track followed by a few audio tracks, for example.

I covered the method in another thread just yesterday.

NoBob, you're damn good at these CDRW issues, what do you do for a living ?

Anyway, I checked the .cue file and it's exactly as you quoted... minus the POSTGAP line.

    Code:
    FILE "D:\SHARED\TEST\DISK 1\DISK 1.BIN" BINARY
      TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
        INDEX 01 00:00:00
It's precisely as you inferred, a data track followed by audio tracks. So with this, I'd venture to guess it should do it in Nero 5.5 with no problems.

    Agreed?

I hope I haven't been too vague in my descriptions (or maybe you typo'd in your response).

Nero will do the burn if the .cue contains only what you quoted; that is, just the single data track. If there are more lines in the .cue that denote audio tracks, I'm not sure if Nero can do that (again, I never tried).

As pointed out in the other thread, Fireburner is an alternative to CDRWin for .bin disc images.
