    HP 7200+ problems! Please help

    Hi, I just installed a HP7200+ on my system(Asus A7V, T-bird 800), now this is my problem. The drive gets recognised but I can't read any cd from it!! Is it broken??

    Get the latest firmware from HP. Also make sure you have the VIA chipset patch. I’m not an AMD user but I know there is a patch that is important for burners. I would imagine it is available on the Asus site.
