HP 4200c scanner just bumps

My HP 4200c scanner has gotten to where it just sets there and bumps when I try to scan something. Is it toast or anyone know this problem and a fix to look at.

Try uninstalling your PrecisionScan scanner software and reinstalling it. Scanner might be toast but you might try that first.
