    is samsung a good cdrom?

    my friend is building a new system n' he ask me if he should by a 48x samsung cdrom..

    what is your opinon of a good cdrom or he should go for the samsung

    Well all of the Creative Labs aka Samsung CD-ROM drives that I've used have been nothing but junk! I had tray motor problems with them and laser problems as well. I personally like Teac, Mitsumi, BTC, Delta, and Sony CD-ROM drives

    I agree with Best4x4. I had a samsung drive once and it worked okay for a while and then totally packed up on me.
