    P2 350 v's AMD K6-2 400 or Celeron even?

Sorry if this is a dumb question or you have heard it all before but I could really do with some advice. Should I invest in a P2 350 processor, an AMD K6-2 400 processor or a Celeron?

I will be using the P.C. primarily as a games machine and want the best 3D gaming performance I can get.... the price is not really an issue, I just need some clear advice on which one will give me the best results?

P.S. I will also be running a Voodoo 2 3D card if it makes any difference.

    'Thanks for any help'

MESSAGE FROM THE MAIN CONTROL ROOM!
I've just this week built a system using the AMD K6 2 400mhz CPU and was pretty impressed with it. Personally I don't use the Intel CPU's as I've taken an irrational dislike to them (don't know why).
However pop to www.tomshardware.com as they do unbiased reviews and benchmark testing of all sorts of hardware including CPU's
It would appear (I went there myself before typing this) that the Intel chips (even the celeron a's) gave the AMD 400 a bit of a pasting (sigh!)
    Hope this helps you decide
