"Real manufacturers of cd-rw's"

Several months ago I came across a web page that listed who the real/true manufacturers are of different brand cd-rw's. Try as I might, I cannot either remember or find that listing. Does anyone have a reference to a page/site that can give me that info?

When I did look at it, i find highly rated drives for a significant amount less due to it being labelled under a different name.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks, tkbrewer...tried cdmediaworld. They do list all of the cdrw brands and their home sites, but it does not give detail on who makes the different models...example (thanks Best4x4)...the TDK VeloCD is a rebadged Plextor 8x4x32.

That's what I'm looking for and what I found long ago...Click on the name and it tells you who made what...

vluc, on the menu on the right, under the "CD MEDIA" heading there is a link called "CD Factories", it has all the information you need.
