Is my SDRAM PC-100 compatible ?

I have an PII @ 266 mHz with 2X 32mb SDRAM. I don't know if it's 66mHz or 100mHz SDRAM. I want to know because I want to change my CPU, and faster CPUs use 100mHz bus...

This is what's written on the ram stick:
    (AZEN RAM)

    On the sticker:
    AAP1182
    32LDM-64G-10SYEP 3V4
    32MB*168P*4CLOCK 07912

    On one chip:
    NEC Singapore
    D4516821G5
    -A12-7JF
9725LEA95 (this number changes from chip to chip)

    On the stick itself:
    94V-0
    2/4M72SV18168PVV

    On the stick, opposite side:
    DS23M648

On the invoice, it's writteh only this:
    RAM-SDRAM4X64
    MEMOIRE SDRAM (32MB) 168P

On the stick, there is 8 chips per side, so a total of 16 chips per stick...

Thank you if you can tell me what's my SDRAM type!

    Hi,

Your CPU (Pentium II 266) is using the 66 MHz bus. That is why, your memory should be 66 as well. I doubt that someone would sell you PC100 memory with your system, because at that time the PC100 memory wasn’t there yet, and if it was, it was expensive.

    Hope this helps.

Even easier way is to go to: http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/sandra
    And download the standard/shareware version.

Run the program and click on "Mainboard Information" It tells you a load of stuff and just before half way (Memory Modules) it tells you what memory modules you have in each slot, 64Mb PC100 etc....
    Cool eh ?
