    Universal 3 button mouse driver?

Someone gave me a cool looking 3 button mouse but didn't have a driver with it....Is there a universal 3 button mouse driver out there?
if so what is it called?

You don't need any mouse drivers in Win9X. Just plug it and you can use it right away.

However, if the mouse have any other special functions or options, you'll require drivers from the mouse manufacturer.

the third button on my mouse doesn't work unless I install the mouse drivers on the included disk. I have no idea why, but win98 won't let me use the 3rd button by default. "standard ps/2 port mouse" obviously only caters for 2 buttons??

There are 2 sites you can try. One is for Micro Innovations, and the other is Fellowes. (Don't know urls, but you can find via www.windrivers.com)
