Search WIN 98 Driver For PIONEER DVD-ROM

I recently bought a DVD-ROM PIONEER 104 SZ.
But I had no driver cd with it (OEM version).
And I have some problems with the UDMA.

So I would like to try if a recent driver
can solve the problem.
If someone can send me the win 98 driver
by mail, or tell me were i can download it.

PS: I tried on Pioneer web sites. I found only dos drivers.

They are no drivers needed for any kind of CDRom/DVD/CDR for Win95/98

Have you tried it, does it work , do you have any DVD playback software (needed for movies) is your graphic card DVD compatible?

Well, I have a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP,
P2 433, 128 RAM, SB Live.
DVD playback works well with Power DVD 2.55,
but there is some lag, so I wanted to enable
the DMA function. But when WIN 98 reboots,
lag didn't disapeared. I looked to DVD properties, but the DMA function wasn't enabled. So I thaught it was because of the driver. I have a IDE Pio mode 4 hard drive connected to the first connector (DVD is connected to the second), does it change something?

try this, when you check the DMA box press OK then you'll go back into the device manager screen go back in the drive properties uncheck the DMA box and check it again then press ok (I have to do this to disable my autorun.

Well, I don't mind other languages beside English at all. You can communicate in Mongolian if you want as long as it will help to solve the problem easier.

I don't think it's DMA. Even with DMA disabled, there's still plenty of bandwidth for the DVD drive.

It's probably the DVD software. Never expect 100% performance from software solutions. That's what hardware DVD decoders are for.

Yeah MOLE is right the V3 2000 offer hardware assistance in DVD decoding not full decoding so that may be the problem.

About the DMA thing Laoche said many times that it was primordial for software DVD decoding.
