    USB Mouses

I just got a Microsoft USB Intellimouse(scroll wheel)and with it I am unable to use it in DOS. Is there a way to get this to work properly or is it because Dos doesn't support USB? Also, what purpose does a USB mouse serve anyway, any advantages? I only got this one because it was brand new and dirt cheap. But it doesn't seem any better than my old serial.

Yes and it won't work under Win98 (safe mode) and WinNT 4; it will work under Win2k and Win98/se. It is because all of those OS'es do not support usb.

It will work under Win98 in a ms-dos box though (or at least should).
