n in 1 printing with NT

    Hello everybody,

I have a Brother HL 760DX and in Win9x the drivers offer a '2 in 1' or '4 in 1' printing option, however this option is not present with the NT drivers. I also noticed this with other printers (HP). Since I'm trying to save trees :-), I would like to see the option in NT.

Is it NT that doesn't allow multiple pages in 1 or is it the manufacturer who didn't write the drivers yet?
Have you come across any 'n in 1' printer drivers for NT?

    Thanks.

It is the manufacturers that don't write the drivers for NT. It is tough to find good print drivers for NT, unless you are using a really professional printer.

    Thanks for your reply.

Thing is that one company I was contracting with had HP5 PS printers which seem to be quite professional (4 trays, a zillion options and pages per minute, NIC, etc.) and yet, when migrating from Win9x to NT, the NT drivers didn't offer the 'n in one' (HP calls this 2-up,...,16-up) option anymore.

If you have PowerPoint, try one of its handout layouts- you can make slides and print several on a page.
Whether you think you can or think you can't- you're right.
