Power problem...

I put my backup 486 on shelf for 3 weeks. Today I hooked it up to show a customer for resale and the front power light flashes but nothing kicks on.
I tried the power cord and monitor on another computer and it worked fine. Just can't figure it out.
The light flashes everytime but nothing else; no fans, spin-up, nothing.

Try thumping the power supply. Now don't give it a haymaker or anything, you might kill the hard disk!

Sounds like the BIOS got messed up. I'd replace the CMOS battery and see if that fixes it. If it still acts weird I'd then I'd flash the BIOS.
