Promise IDE Ultra/66 PCI Controller
Update from prior post, tho I couldn't remember where I posted it too, sorry. The card arrived today, I put it in the pci slot, hooked up a drive and power and BOOM, it worked great! It's own bios init's the drives after the scsi detects it's drives and then boots. Once win2k was loaded, it asked for a driver and it loaded and then one more reboot and that was it. Nice to know Promise wrote a driver that was Win2k compliant, way to go!!! As far as performance, no idea yet...I just thought the subject of 8 ide devices on a single motherboard was neat and wanted to see if it worked...Now I don't have to buy a expensive external raid box for a upgrade.
