Sony or Teac CD-R SCSI - any experiences

I am debating these two drives. The features that are important to me are: SCSI interface and SPDIF digital out to SB Live.

Can anybody say anything good or bad about these drives? Any other recommendations?

The both have street price ~$250

    TIA

Go for the TEAC R55S it runs a dream with ADAPTEC 2920 scsi controller & Discjuggler.

It'll copy any disc you throw at it without the dreaded buffer under-run.
