CMOS recognize my HD but Win 98 didn't!

I have a 10gig hd in my system loaded with win 98. I have an old HD with (340mb) and I want to install to my system. I have everything connected. CMOS detect my 340 mb HD, but when I load win 98. Win 98 didn't recognize my hd. If you know any solutions, please advise. Thank You

Look in system properties under the device manager tab, look under disk drives. If your drive is in here it will probabley be a generice ide type 47, go into it and tell it it's removable and then set a letter. it'll make it think it's a zip disk or something but it works.

Oh and why do you need a 340 mb HD when youve got a 10 gig HD?
