I saw this new controller from Thrustmaster at Comp U$A the other day. It looks pretty neat. On top of a regular joystick base is a triangle shaped handgrip which is gripped with both hands. This controller is designed for Quake style games
You apparently move forwards/backwards/side to side by sliding the handgrip parallel to the desk. You can turn left/ right by rotating the handgrip about the 'R' axis and you can look up/ down by pushing forward/ pulling back respectively.
The idea looks pretty neat. The only problem is the controller feels a little light-weight and insubstantial (I guess due to my weight and inertia potential ;-).
Has anyone tried this controller? How does it work?
