CD-RW and CD-ROM / soundcard

I'm trying to hook up a CD-RW drive to my computer. How can I get both my CD-ROM drive and the CD-RW plugged into my soundcard if it only has one input? Does the digital ouput have anything to do with it?

you can make a plug, splice and solder it together and wrap with electrical tape.
