DigiView 17". any good?

Hi , i am thinking of buying a DigiView 17" monitor. .27 dot pitch, NI.
Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with it or heard bad things about it.

One of my cousins has a 17 inch DigiView and it's a piece of crap!!! Stay away from it at all costs....go for a Viewsonic if you can afford it.

I have bought more than 15 DigiView monitors
(14",15",17" ) in the past year and all of my friends like it.

It has sharper text than KDS and darker color also.

Usually, they have larger "Actuall Viewable Screen size". 13.6" for 14"
16.1 for 17"

Don't worry about DigiView.

Uber, could u maybe tell me why they thought it was crap?
it definately has larger viewable area
better dot pitch...

viewsonic = +$100 at least. tell me why its worth it...

You get what you pay for man....my cousin's DigiView gets very hot and randomly shuts itself off. As for the better dot pitch and larger viewable area my 17" Viewsonic has a dot pitch of .25 and a viewable area of 16.1" Really man if you are going to make that big of an investment for something that you will spends hours in front of EVERY DAY spend the extra cash and insure that you get the highest quality you can.
