From what I've heard around the 'net. Plextor CD-ROM are really nice.

Agreed. I have a Plextor 12/20 linked up with a SCSI CDR. VERY nice and quick, with few defective burns.

The Plextor UltraPleX 14/32X is more than 2x the price of the Toshiba XM-6201B 32x scsi.
Is it worth the price.
