Video Probs

I've got some serious probs with my vid card i thinks

every so often the pc will crash? ie: blue and whit lines appear on the screen verticly pc seems to still keep going though not quite sure.

checked for virus-nothing
reinstalled windows-nothing

any help appreciated

Are the lines all over the screen, flickering? Can you move the mouse and see it (barely)?

Or are there just a few lines, perhaps at the top of the screen, and everything is locked?

The line cover the whole of the screen running verticaly
PC totaly locks up

It seems to be running ok with a spare card i had (TNT2 M64)

It will happen anytime between the windows splash screen onwards

You over heating it? Got it overclocked? Is the fan still running? Cleaned the dust out? Case temps too high?

nah the card isnt overclocked and never has been, i dont see any need when i was scoring 8612 3d marks (3d Mark 2K)

Currently my Ge-Force 2 GTS is being replaced under w'tee.

Nut any help on why\what has happend will be appreciated
