Help me choosing a 250$ vid card !
Hi,
i have to buy 8 video cards for open gl visualization.
I need both linux and windows support and my
budget is limited (250$/vidcard).
I was thinking about
Abit Siluro Nvidia GeForce 3 Ti 200 64MB DDR
since i'm using old Quadro (GeForce 256 GL) and Linux support is really great (RPM for most distributions).
Regards,
Stefano

I'm pretty sure ATI cards work in Linux...anyway you could look into getting some 8500's in there. I'm sure you could get them for about $150 a piece.

Yeah, the 8500 is a good card. Not too sure about Linux support though. You should follow Swedishlf 's thread on the subject...
